My fps performance in blops 2 is decreasing so much so that I drop the resolution to maintain 60 fps, which in cod is crucial for some reason compared to other games.

What GPU do you have right now? (As your signature says "(soon to be) XFX 390")

Right now I'm using the igpu, which is Intel HD 4600.

To be honest, I would assume that is the problem. Games really don't play well on iGPU.

Can't really say anything else, that R9 390 would give you a very stable 60fps, which is not do-able on iGPU :/ (unless lowering settings to low everything)

Everything is n low, and I used to get a stable 60, not its not. BTW, I already had a 390 and I am returning it for another. Got 160 fps ultra 1440p.

You could check the temperatures on your CPU, if it's really high it might just be thermal throttling

Hovers around 40 degrees, I'm getting the 390 Tuesday anyway (shipped late), will dominate that game with that.
