Good Aftermarket Cooler to Buy for AMD FX-8350

Kristallnacht

Hi! I've recently bought my computer about a month ago and everything is going quite well except with my CPU temperatures.

- I get 40 - 50 Celsius just browsing through internet and a few things running.

- I get 60 - 80 Celsius when playing games.
(The ambient temperature is pretty hot here in the Philippines)

I was just wondering which budget oriented CPU cooler should I get?

With some research the ones that I currently have in mind to get are the All in One Liquid Cooler Corsair H60 or the Cooler Master: Hyper 212x

Specs:
CPU: AMD FX 8350 (Using the stock cooler)

Motherboard: MSI 970A-G43
Memory: 8gb HyperX (1 stick)

Video Card: MSI GTX 970 4GD5T OC
Hard Drive: Seagate 1tb
PSU:600w

H60 is quite weak. You either get a Hyper 212 or go high end with an H80i or H100i. I personally only chose high end ones when it comes to water cooling

| CPU: Intel Core i5 8400 | Motherboard: MSI Z370 PC Pro | CPU Cooler: CM Hyper 212 PLUS | GPU: Zotac GeForce GTX 1070 AMP! Edition | RAM: G.Skill Aegis 16GB DDR4 2400 MHz | PSU: Corsair VS650 | SSD: SanDisk SSD Plus 120GB | HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB | Monitor: Dell S2240L | OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 |

If you live in a hot climate, water cooling can provide more headroom, but 120mm rads are not worth the money, so i would try to either get a 240mm rad or the biggest heatsink you can afford, Thermalright Macho or True Spirit, Be quiet! Dark rock 3, DEEPCOOL Gamer Storm Lucifer V2, Raijintek EREBOSS, CRYORIG H5, any of those. If you can't afford them, then something like an Hyper 212 EVO would work fine, just...considering you live in Manila, i would get the best i could afford.

But cleaning it will be the last thing you want to do.

Coz

-It's heavy

-The tank could crack if you didn't handle it properly

-It's OIL man! What happens if you want to clean it then ?

-IF you want to RMA something then ^.

When lives hand you lemon, suck them hard and post a selfie with it.

Don't get the 212, it won't do very well at all. Anything that is a dual tower air cooler will do ok. I recommend either the NH-D14/15 or a Phanteks PH-TC14PE.
