So I'm pretty sure it's impossible to fix since I've been at this for a few hours now with no luck. Basically what happened is my phone had a software update to 6.0 but it wouldn't install because I rooted so I was gonna flash the stock rom back on (I've done this successfully before) but this time it got stuck on a blue screen that said "factory reset status 2" and the phone wouldn't restart on it's own like I assume it should have so everywhere online said to remove the battery and let it boot normally, well it doesn't boot normally it just ends up back on that blue screen. After trying my absolute hardest to fix this with no success I started downloading other tools to help and so far nothing has worked.

As it is right now I'm pretty sure there is a rom on there but the model information is gone and LGFlashTool 1.8 isn't having it. because it can't figure out the model information it just fails and won't continue. I have literally tried everything I can think of to fix/bypass this issue and just have it reflash the entire stock rom but it just won't, period.

I tried an older LGFlashTool and I get this weird information...

According to this screen my phone is unknown in basically every way. Is there a way to fix this or do you guys have any suggestions? I'm pretty sure I need a new phone at this point but any help would be MUCH appreciated.

PS: I can still get into download mode and if I try to let it boot normally I can get to this mini os thing with the blue screen but it won't boot the OS. Also when i use the newer LGFlashTool with the nicer GUI I get this...

Update: For anyone else having this problem follow this guide (Link) and partway through the flashing partitions part flash the misc partition, after doing this my phone booted into some diagnostic screen where i could choose normal boot and it started working for me. I still don't fully know why this worked of if flashing the misc partition actually did anything but that's what i did and after i did it started working so good luck.
