I have a 4670K and a gigabyte z87x-d3h,

when im using 1.35V i cant get 4.5Ghz to stable,

could something else make the overclock not stable?

i have a transcend value memory 4GBX2,could that be a problem?could a vengeance memory help?

is there something else in the bios that could help me reach stability?

Do you have the latest bios installed on your board? Also some chips aren't suited for overclocking. It all comes down to the silicone lottery

Im currently using F3 and there's seems to be F7 for download, you think that could help?

the description doesn't mention anything regarding overclocking...

Since there is such a gap in revisions, there is probably been some system stability updates.

Note: Bios updating can be risky and can potentially brick your board if done wrong. I just want to inform you of this before you continue.

I prefer not to update my board bios,i don't think the risk is worth it.

It has a DualBIOS though, right? You'll still have a backup BIOS just in case.

Well, the risk isn't that big anymore with the new in-bios flashing utilitys, but the risk is of course still there. You also have a backkup bios in case the flash goes wrong.

Back to your original question. You could try and look in to things like the CPU spread spectrum and load line calibration

Ring bus frequency

Ring bus voltage

Processor input voltage

Memory speed, voltage

Can all lead to instability. You need to isolate each variable individually to yield best stable results. Check out my guide in the guides and tutorials section
