Hello,

I am looking at getting a new PC for about $500.  I'm focusing on the CPU but want the GPU to still be existent.  The OS, peripherals, and storage are being taken from my current PC. The CPU does need to be as fast and have as many cores as possible at this price point.  The GPU also has to be Nvidia as a couple programs I use only support CUDA.  I don't care about color coordination since I won't be looking at it and I am colorblind.  The disc drive has to stay.  Here's what I'm thinking:

CPU: AMD FX-8320E 3.2GHz 8-Core Processor  ($122.99 @ NCIX US)

Motherboard: ASRock 980DE3/U3S3 ATX AM3+ Motherboard  ($53.98 @ Newegg)

Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory  ($34.99 @ Amazon)

Storage: Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  (Purchased)

Storage: Corsair Force LS 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  (Purchased)

Storage: Western Digital RE3 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive  (Purchased)

Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 960 4GB Video Card  ($189.99 @ Newegg)

Case: Thermaltake Versa H23  ATX Mid Tower Case  ($26.00 @ Newegg)

Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply  ($49.99 @ Amazon)

Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer  ($17.88 @ OutletPC)

Total: $495.82

Q: Do I have a virus?!
A: If you didn't click a sketchy email, haven't left your computer physically open to attack, haven't downloaded anything sketchy/free, know that your software hasn't been exploited in a new hack, then the answer is: probably not.

Q: What email/VPN should I use?
A: Proton mail and VPN are the best for email and VPNs respectively. (They're free in a good way)

Q: How can I stay anonymous on the (deep/dark) webzz???....

A: By learning how to de-anonymize everyone else; if you can do that, then you know what to do for yourself.

Q: What Linux distro is best for x y z?

A: Lubuntu for things with little processing power, Ubuntu for normal PCs, and if you need to do anything else then it's best if you do the research yourself.

Q: Why is my Linux giving me x y z error?

A: Have you not googled it? Are you sure StackOverflow doesn't have an answer? Does the error tell you what's wrong? If the answer is no to all of those, message me.

Maybe bump it up to an FX 8350?

I wanted to, but that'd bump the price up $50

I need Nvidia, also, I don't care much at all about the case looking good so I don't think I need to spend $40 on it
