I cant lower my CPU fan speed below 1500rpm (msi x99a krait)

Karavusk

I have a watercooled CPU and want all my fans to spin under 1000rpm. I am using 5 fans,

3x silent wings 2 from bequiet on the rad and 2 fractal design as normal case fans that were included

with my define s.

The case fans cant go lower than 50% in msi command center but all 3

are strangely at 700-800rpm http://puu.sh/m5VbJ/a5fe2cb1bd.png

CPU fan 2 is at 25% speed which is the lowest and at 800rpm

and CPU fan 1 is at 25% with 1500rpm?!?  http://puu.sh/m5Va4/f5cbf739f1.jpg

Is there a way for me to turn it down even lower? 1500rpm for a watercooled system

all the time? Thats way too loud and not needed at 36C :C

can someone help me?

Have you tried changing which fans are plugged into which connectors?

Also, are you trying this from within the BIOS?

Are they PWM enabled fans?

nope they are all voltage controlled. It is the same in BIOS and its not caused by the fan

only with the CPU fan 1 connector on the mainboard. Since I am using all 5 connectors I have to use it.

low noise adaptor? it reduces voltage so lower rpm

SpeedFan has more options than BIOS when you need to control 3pins. It requires more to setup, but well worth it.
