Hello everybody i have a issue with my new build it doesn't post and i thought it was my graphics card so i got a new one and still didn't work so now i think its my ram but im just wondering its an amd build so will an nvidia card work with it(friend said it might be that but i told him that was stupid) or could it be my motherboard just doesn't like single channel ram My motherboard is an MSI 970 Gaming Motherboard and my Processor is a AMD FX8350 i have crucial 8gb single ram stick and i tried a gtx 750ti from gigabyte and a gtx 950 from MSI. Or could it be that my CPU 8 pin power connector isn't plugged in(which every time i do plug it in my motherboard or anything else just doesn't power on or do anything)

make sure you plug the ram stick inot the correct slot

the motherboard manual will tell you where if youre only using 1 DIMM

and all nvidia GPUs will work with AMD CPUs so thats not the problem

btw your friend is dumb
