how they got window 10 for 7.8gb for 32emmc on notebook?

i have asus Eeebook e403 with 32 emmc and it has window 10 on it , it takes 20gb out of my 28gb emmc that i have.

is there any way to get free space or reduce winodw size 

i have seen windows with 10-15gb on some hp streams

 

i have tried diskclean and still got no result 

 

according to this articles Microsoft is cutting space for laptops with ssd to 7.8gb for full window 10

any one know how they did it.

Bloatware? unused apps, updates etc all comes under the space usage.

It may start as 7.8GB but it will soon change and increase in size with updates and needed applications

They sell 32GB SSD storage devices to take on chromebooks, thats all and rely on external storage such as the cloud and USB drives where chromebooks are a lot lighter space wise and can actually run on 16GB/32GB easily, infact 32GB is quite a large amount on chromebooks.

How did you measure the amount of space Windows is taking? I mean, did you account for hiberfil.sys and pagefile.sys? They can easily add up to 10GB.

laptop came with 14 gb free out of 28gb but once i updated it went up and now only 8gb is free out of 28gb

and i checked properties of wnodws folder in c and it said 20gb

Do you have Windows.old folder?

What is the file size of your pagefile?

You can save space by disabling hibernation.

Did you empty you temp directories (both of them?)

Did you see if AppData\Local isn't huge, and clean stuff up inside?
