So I'm going to build a new pc within the NZXT S340. I was wondering if I built the pc then used the foam in the NZXT box to put it back in the box the tape it up then ship it. Is shipping it in the box a bad idea? Will it break something? Shipping internationally. Air shipping.

Do you have a big aircooler?

I would put the GPU/CPU cooler (and cpu too ofc) in a seperate box. Might be dangerous with all the acceleration for the PCI connections to break or something

you ashould remove the graphics card, and any hard drives before shipping.

Also remove any water coolers, or overly large air coolers.

IF you must keep those things inside, then there's no guarantee it will survive shipping in one piece, and if you do ship it like that, please... use a LOT more than just the foam that came with the case. it won't last a single small drop with a full system inside it with just that foam.

well if you do have to ship it... putting it back into the original box & packaging is the way to do it... but... there is always going to be a chance that it could get damaged in shipping... so make sure you get insurance on it when you do ship it, for the full price of everything in the case... and maybe even an extra 10-20% as well...

Holy shit yea, then DEFFO shit the dark rock separately! That thing is huge and might legit break your mobo when it's wobbling around in a plane.

If your case has a window I'd protect it with some cloth or something. Never know what might poke through or bump against the box in the airplane

Dark Rock 3, R9 390X

Remove the 390X and dark rock, ship them separately inside another box which you can then place in a larger shipping box for your case.

Just remember though, there's no such thing as overkill packaging when shipping a 2 thousand dollar computer.

I take the Dark Rock and 390X with my carry on luggage when I go back
