So i got a EVGA GeForce GTX 750Ti SC 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card For this PC http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c02858518 and it freezes at the point where you can press F8 to go to advance boot options and my PC starts to beep. I'm new to this so i'm not sure what steps to take to get this to work.(i did install a 430w power supply)

the PSU is a 250 Watt unit

is your GPU powered by the PCI-E or the power plug?

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

I got a 430w power supply with the graphics card and it doesn't need a 6pin clable thing

if you remove the GPU

does it boot up normally?

one bad news is maybe the BIOS is locked down so you can install any aftermarket GPU

Yes, once i remove the graphics card it boots just like normal.

The "Important Notice" did mention i may need to update my bios for best compatibility.
