machine doesn't POST

EDIT: after checking all the cables it worked again so ignore this post, sorry!

So i've had this PC for ~6 months now and it suddenly switched off and wouldn't turn back on.

when i press the power button the PSU fan spins so the PSU isn't dead, but the power button had a blue led that lights up when the pc is on and it doesn't light up now for some reason. a month ago my pc would randomly restart when i play games on it (only when i game on it never else) and it went away when i changed my gpu drivers, but for the last week my screen would randomly go black (also only when i game on it) for a few seconds then back to normal. I changed the drivers once after that but the problem didn't go away. now 15 minutes ago while i was ingame it switched off out of nowhere and doesn't turn back on. never faced this problem before so i have no clue where to start.
