And then post your time and what GPU you were using .

 

ALSO! Heard a sneaky beaky rumor that an r9 390x beat a titan x's render time by 10seconds D: so lets see if thats true

 

 

Whole Process should take a few minutes to setup and a 2 minutes max on the render (for newer gpus)

Awesome ! Gpu render is acessed by File>User Preferences>System (then look in lower left corner of that window under compute device and change to GPU)

Slightly. I reduced my OC for the test. It's normally at 4.8GHz.

ah, i just found out why my CPU performed poorly. I updated my BIOS a few days ago and did not realize that it took out my OC. When I went to find my fan settings i noticed my cpu was only running @4.2 instead of my 4.6 OC. Unfortunately I think the bios update destroyed my saved oc profile. So I don't remember what voltage I used. I just remember I just pressed the + button twice. And popped the multiplier to 46. I am currently on a 4.6 oc and testing stability currently at 1.215 volts and running XTU stress test for 20 mins now

My friend has a ASUS Strix 980 and rendered the same file in 1 minute and 48 seconds
