Thank you for the links, do you know of any other laptops. I very much dislike the design of the ThinkPad as well as the screaming logos.

ThinkPads are the most robust and reliable machines you can get. The best of the best for work, especially the i7 ones. They have superior cooling to most gaming laptops thus allowing for max turbo of the CPUs

Really? As my school uses them I forgot what model however they are the slowest trash I have ever used. I'm really just not a fan of them.

A Core 2 Duo is several time slower than a i7 2630HQ/QM - really, no point in even making a comparison.
