Hello first time on the forums and pretty good fan of linustechtips

i am wondering if anybody can help me out with my issues since i built this computer maybe a two or three months ago

right now i am currently getting random freezes at random times when idle i have not overclocked it yet or set xmp profiles all i did was put the hardware together and downloaded the operating system with a few games with a couple of nvidia and corsair drives. During the freezes i am am hearing sometimes a loud screeching noise for the monitor and also the fans increases to almost full speed for the cpu.

Parts:

ASUS ATX DDR4 3000 LGA 2011-3 Motherboards X99-DELUXE/U3.1 (bios 1701)

Intel Core i7-5930K Haswell-E 6-Core 3.5GHz LGA 2011-v3 140W Desktop Processor

Corsair Hydro Series H100i GTX High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR4 2400 MT/s (PC4-19200) DIMM 288-Pin Memory (currently can only use 8gbs didn't read the accepted memory later switching to 16gb or 32gb corsair vengeance lpx)

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Ti Overclocked 6GB GDDR5 PCiE Video Card Graphics Card

CORSAIR RM850i High Performance Power Supply ATX12V / EPS12V 850 Power Supply

Samsung 850 EVO 500GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD

WD Black 2TB Performance Desktop Hard Disk Drive - 7200 RPM SATA 6 Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch

ASUS BW-12B1ST/BLK/G/AS 12X Blu-ray Internal Burner Drive with Disc Encryption

Windows 8.1 Pro System Builder OEM DVD 64-Bit (upgraded to windows 10)

NZXT H630 Ultra Tower Case Glossy White (switching to a smaller case this one is too large)

temps: are mosty in the 30s becuase i do run at idle most because of the issue plus the graphic card is in the 40s

So if anybody can make suggestions to how to fix these problems that i am dealing it will be a great help with the current situation

(plus any suggestions on a white mid tower would be greatly appreciated plus maybe a different suggestion to ram also)

Have you updated all of your drivers? I had some similar problems which were eliminated after updated all the drivers
