A true quad core will perform much better in games than a hyperthreaded dual core.

I am working on a build for 2016. I need it to be budget oriented, but I still want to get good price to performance.

I am wondering how an i3 that has hyperthreading stacks up against a true quad core i5.

I game, multitask, and create content fairly often, so will a true quad core be better even though it costs more money?
