Personally, Dark Rock Pro 3 is a stunning Air Cooler and it may be a pain to install one of the bolts, but when it's in. It's ****** amazing. If you'd like an AIO - then h100i GTX would be a good idea, but the EK Predator is also good if you're looking for the ability to add a GPU in the loop :P

I have the dark rock pro 3 2 and its a beast if you want to stay on air cooling go with the be quite or the noctua.

I dont get why its so hard to install I mounted it on a 2011 socket and it wasnt so hard just get ram sticks out and the outer fan and its very simple. The only hard part is to fit the four screws on the cooling bracket just use some force and it will pop right in ;). I also had quite tall ram but its quite spaced out from the cpu.

Well as someone who's going to build his pc for the first time do you reccomend going for AIO or Air cooling?

Also being afraid that the cpu cooler will be really big and block things out.

Well it depends if you like air or water, the budget you have to spend, the overclocking you have to do and the space you have.

If you have lots of money and must fit big cooling on tight space for overclocking hard go water.

If you have a more short budget a BIG case and normal overclock air is good.

I personally prefer air cooling vs water in AIO. It depends to your personal preference and how reliable you want your system to be water cooling i now more reliable than before but air is just more reliable.

If you dont plan to overclock so much go for a mid size cooler like a noctua NH-U14S http://noctua.at/en/products/cpu-cooler-retail/nh-u14s.html#.VnRq8PnhAdg

or a dark rock 3 http://www.bequiet.com/en/cpucooler/483

they are both good in terms of quality and cooling
