So this is what i was thinking of, I will give some information as to why i chose everything but there are a few where i'm not so sure about. firstly My budget is $1400 USD maximum, this includes everything ranging from mouse/keyboard to OS and monitor, but it does exclude things like thermal compound or things needed to build the pc. I would prefer if possible i could go under $1300 but $1400 is still OK. my main reason for the build is definitely gaming, i play lots of different games(including the new ones too come) so i would prefer it to be future proof for at least the next 2-3 years. I will not be buying this in the US but most of the prices for these parts are the same from where i am from unless stated below.

So my main problems is the CPU and motherboard, for now, i stuck to a i5 4460 even though i was thinking of the 4690k as i may do some overclocking and it looks a lot better for the future, as for the motherboard i really am clueless about this part, i dont need a great looking one, just one that has its utilities and wont be totally useless in the future.

CM hyper 212 evo just for cooling, heard its best bang for buck so why not? any other better/cheaper options?

the gtx 970 is what i really wanted the most, i did think about the r9 390 but in my country it was a lot more expensive than the gtx 970, don't worry as most of the other parts are around the same price, only the r9 390, no clue why

16gb ram so i wont need to worry about getting more in the future, i chose this brand as it was the cheapest i could see :P ram is ram haha

corsair 200R as i went for a cheaper case, dont mind the looks, would like recommendations on this aswell

1TB HDD nothing to say, 250GB SSD instead of 128GB as i may need the extra bit in the future

corsair CX 600W i chose and can change if this pc needs more or has too much, i chose this just as an average good power supply

Asus VG248QE is extremely necessary for gaming or so i was told, probably wont change this, and no i dont have any other monitors

everything else i just picked because its necessary and went with the higher/cheaper good review products, windows 8.1/10 i dont mind any, im not sure about the headset and mouse/keyboard yet, for headset i prefer a higher quality microphone over the sound and for mouse/keyboard i just need something that works (dont mind it being wired) lol

any help/recommendations on anything would be helpful, any questions just ask away!, thanks

Do Not go with a CX PSU, something from EVGA, or Seasonic please. That's all you really need to change.

Great input guys! i'll definitely change the psu, do i just need a different brand or get a higher wattage psu too?

I may do video editing/rendering which is why i kept the ram, and the ram is the cheaper parts in the build which is why i dont worry too much about it, will swap it for 8gb if needed!

i heard a lot better reviews on the G930 compared to the cloud, although i'll do more research before buying it, thanks for the tip
