So im looking for a ups for my build and i know nothing about which kind to get or capacity or anything like that. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/McnsD3 Here's my build. I want something reliable without spending a fortune. Thanks

I use this one for my i5 and SLI 960's system in addition to one monitor and my router. Works well and isn't too expensive(though I got mine a lot cheaper so you might want to shop around). http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16842101421&cm_re=APC_UPS-_-42-101-393-_-Product

Well if you get one similar to the one I linked then you would be able to run longer or run more things off of it but that's obviously your decision, the model below it should be good enough for your i5/950 system.

I been in the same boat when I was shopping for a UPS a few years ago and after three tries find that CyberPower CP1350PFCLCF Sinewave did what I needed too. Be sure its the sinewave version. Hard telling how sensitive a PSU in the computer would react when the power fluctuates for some odd reason.

I also have tried the APC BR1500G. On the Dell computer I was hoping to use it for failed during testing with the computer turning off and on a dozen times. So I tried it on another computer that was my first build which had a basic Cooler Master PSU (none 80plus but at 500watts) and it worked fine.

As for capacity I would recommend around the 1350VA but I wouldn't go below 1000VA.

I would recommend something like this, from APC your system would draw more than 300W at full load and it will give you more thane enough overhead for peripherals and networking equipment. While you can go for a larger unit for allow for future upgrades or changes in your build:
