Always download the latest from the manufacturers' websites. If you have no means of doing so, then yes, you need an optical drive to install the drivers for the wireless network card.  Once you have internet connectivity you can download the rest.

I got a disc with my motherboard and my wifi card?

 

And do i need a optical drive to install the drivers or does it come with the motherboard
