Some PFsense Question

I have recently found a old but usuallable AM2+ based computer and i was thinking of transferring it to a router using PFsense these are the question below. 

 

1. Will wifi addon card (Which is not expensive) perform the same in the case of distance and speed compare to my current modem ( TD-W8960N ) preferred that it will perform better. 

2. Are you able to run dual channel if the add on is dual channel as separated SSID? 

3. Will 4GB USB Flash drive be large enough for base install and some plugins? or should i get larger flash drive.

a 4GB flash drive may not be enough. if you want some cheap storage on it then this would work http://pcpartpicker.com/part/a-data-internal-hard-drive-asp600s364gmc

Pfsense doesnt currently support wifi broadcasting as far as i know of.
