Before/After Christmas?

When will the best deals on Christmas be? Christmas has its sales of course, but right after they have big sales as well because they know that none of us are really trying to buy anything more.

 

So my basic question and backstory is this; Galax just restocked their 980ti HOF edition, dropped the price by 50$

Should I take that deal, or maybe hope for something bigger after christmas?

What's y'alls experiences?

AFAIK the 26 is a really good day to go shopping but many people know that so better be fast
