Build Log "45Deg"

KryptekPCModz

Hello, my name is DJ Madrid also known as Kryptek PC Casemodz I am also from the Philippines. And thanks to my major sponsor for this build project Thermaltake and ASUS, thank you so much for this opportunity, more power!

And now, let's go to the build.

This project will be named "45Deg" or "45 Degree", the position of the motherboard is something new in our eyes because normally many of the mods today are rotated into 90 degree or 180 degree inverted, so I decided to make a 45 degree rotated motherboard position. I'll be using Thermaltakes water cooling parts, case, power supply and Riing fans. I am waiting for motherboard, gpu, ram modules, and ssd for the build.

Here is my isometric 3D design using Google Sketchup Pro. Hope you'll like it

I very much like it!

It makes me think of this hideous Alienware desktop but your's just looks like a regular PC from the front.

E: And your design will make it easier to reach the back of the PC. Something that is always a struggle and a half to do...

That looks AWESOME! Oh my gosh, I'm going to need to buy one of those if they're ever a thing. But how will it be with hardware compatibility? Full on or limited?

Thy hath sinneth, and in thy life thou hast fallen to an unholy, unspeakable level of humanity. Thou hast given into your basest needs. And suffered many years under thine Satan-box. However, if thine be willing, as thy hast show yourself to be, thy can ascendeth into thy glorious fold of the glorious church. Go well, my brother, may your temps be low and your frames high. ~ MrDynamicMan

Looking at the first sketch it looks like full compatibility. Heck he even has a custom loop in it by the looks of it!

I wonder if it would make anything special possible with placement or space usage... Off the top of my head, the only idea I came up with is using that remaining area where the angle is to make some weird container for all the rear I/O, then have it coming out as one cable. That would probably be pretty cool, but not really practical, and it'd get rid of the special thing about the case...

You could do a custom stack of SSD's in the place showing in my screenshot. Might be able to fir like 5-6 SSD's in there :D

You're right... there are SO many things that could be done with this, and looking at it again, I don't think there's much hardware that wouldn't fit... SO AWESOME!

Before we resume modding, let me do a quick preview of the motherboard that i'll be using for the build ;)

The sexy main board
24137469974_fc55b92545_c.jpg

Sexy heatsink, I loved it! Also you're gonna use only the Skylake processors with DDR4 3400+ MHz (OC) 4 DIMM slots, dual Channel XMP Support

24647853872_958a59f9db_c.jpg

SupremeFX on-board audio, the best audio performance
24398069169_3013599aa4_c.jpg

PCI Express slot, and also have the M.2 Socket 3 Type M PCIe Gen 3.0 x4

southbridge heatsink with the ROG logo is more sexier than the previous rog boards ;)
