Hi All. So about a year and a month ago I bought a new computer mainly for Minecraft, and gradually got sucked into the world of PC gaming. The computer I bought can be found here: HP Pavilion p7-1233w Desktop PC Product Specifications - HP technical support (Andorra - English) Like I said, I gradually got sucked into PC gaming, and decided it was time to upgrade a few components, my GPU and PSU. I bought a Corsair CX600 600 Watt PSU, and a HIS IceQ Radeon HD 7870, and all was well, for a time.

Now, however, a few issues have arisen. Starting yesterday, my screen will have diagonal lines running across it distorting the image. They are never the same size, shape or in the same place. They seem to be completely random. Also, black boxes (seen in the attached file, on the right side) appear occasionally.

Another issue, this one with my CPU. When playing intense games like BF3 or Crysis 3, my cpu will max at 100%. I did some googling to see potential causes of it, and ending up downloading Malwarebytes to remove some malware. There was more malware than I'd like to admit. I uninstalled a few programs and freed up hard drive space, killed processes in the task manager while gaming, but, nothing helps.

While I consider myself quite affluent, I'm still very new to this and any advice would be appreciated.

Ok, thanks for all the replies, but alas, my GPU runs at fairly low temperatures. I just took my computer apart and used and air compressor to blow the dust out of the CPU, GPU, PSU, and system fan. I also run the computer with one side missing for cooling, and it's in a room that's ~68 *F constantly. I highly doubt that high temperatures are to blame. Perhaps I have a bad card? Should I get the warranty information and see what I can do there? Again, any advice appreciated.
