(Samsung Galaxy Note 5: Factory Unlocked) Question

I've been planning on buying myself a phone, though i'm a noob at this whole Factory Unlocked, international type of stuff.

 

I'm wanting to buy a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 from Amazon. It's Factory Unlocked - international - GSM. 

 

From reading, I guess I can't use GSM on Verizon, Metro, At&t, etc etc. However I want to be able to get a plan for the phone on Metro PCS.

 

To anyone's knowledge, can anyone tell me how I can go about it or if there is something I'm missing? I'm confused haha.

Nope, if it uses the CDMA network you have to get the phone from Verizon or another CDMA carrier.

You could look locally on the classifieds for a phone. If it's been paid off, and you check with the carrier to make sure of this, then it's the same as buying online except for the potential for bloatware.

I got my Note5 that way, and it has no bloatware.

Seems like more of a pain, to find a Note 5 around where I live lol.

No, that's usually with carriers. Unlocked phones generally don't.

I checked, it should work. They use the 850/1900 and 1700 bands which the phone will have if you're going with the N920.

Well, seeing how it isn't coming with any bloatware, and it does in fact work with Metro. Guess i'll grab it from Amazon. However, if I do get Metro, will it put metro bloatware on it? as in, like, the start-up screen logo and such lol.

Nope, they don't install anything on the phone.
