So I was wondering :

  1. If someone I know has windows 7, should I take it from him and install it on my PC. And after that download windows 10? Or should I just get windows 10?
I don't know if the performance would change or wtv. After all its juste an update, but maybe the system would be better off with windows 10 right from the start?

  2. If I get windows 10 can I share it with someone else?

1. IF they have an extra copy of Windows 7 and aren't using the license anymore, then sure you could use it and then use the free upgrade.

No, there won't be any performance decrease by going that route.

But no, you shouldn't just "take" their copy o_O

2. No, it's only a free upgrade on an individual license basis.

You better make sure that you can activate it again. License might be locked to one mobo only.
