Posted December 12, 2015 Hi, I'm building anew computer and everything is running well but when i turn on the power, the power LED does not light up. Posted December 12, 2015 I would suggest spare parts, if that isn't available, I would maybe contact the motherboard/PSU/case (if relevant) manufacturer. On a more important hand, does the problem affect you in any way? Basic guide to CPU's! If I said I were 14, you would call me a kid. If I say 70, you’ll entitle me too old. If it is plugged in correctly but not lighting a simple way to test if it is a dead LED is taking a 3V watch battery to the LED in the correctly polarity to see if it lights up.
