Can anyone tell me why the 480GB version of this SSD is 1000 pounds more expensive than the 240GB?

Because Corsair. It is incredibly overpriced in Denmark too, but not to this extend. A typo probably

what the heck!! 1000 pounds!! I mean Corsair does have an increadable reputation for insane prices but with that money you could buy a freaking Titan X or a 5960X!!

1400 Pounds? that just has to be an error... you probably don't want to, but don't buy it :DD, I would rather go for Samsung 850 EVO, I got the 500GB one and it is great. :)
