4720hq vs 5700hq vs 6700hq

hi guys im looking for a gaming laptop and i have found 3 laptops and all three of them are essentially the same except for the ram generation and cpu.

when i look at the 4720hq laptop it is £200 cheaper than the 6700hq!

I was wondering if im able to save some money by going with the 4720hq laptop and will i be missing out on anything? is there a significant difference between the performance of the cpu's and ram generation?

Battery efficiency will be less, but otherwise it not a big difference in performance.

There is barely any noticeable difference other than a slight decrease in overall power consumption, and a slight increase in IPC per core, adding up to maybe an increase of 10% in raw performance. Not worth 200 quid imo.

There's the integrated graphics upgrade, but with a gaming laptop you're not gonna be using it for anything it can't handle, so...
