it's pretty neat and I for one will buy it as soon as it's released.

A couple months ago however, an onlike UK retailer started to accept preorders and everyone began buying them and went into chaos mode. Then Sony was like "Yo, hey, not yet dude...calm down"

and everyone (myself included) was bummed. Sony has advertised the SW2 to be released "soon". This could be whenever.

BUT I recently talked to a Sony sales rep and he said that Sony hasn't even given them a date. But he did say that Sony plans to release it in September when they introduce their new Xpiera.

I for one am thrilled. This watch is a step in the right direction for technology.

It weighs almost as much as my phone... I know it's still pretty light in the grand scheme of things, and I probably wouldn't actually notice after wearing it for a while, but that seems pretty significant...

Whats the price? I find it kinda pointless unless its like $100 or less.  Or maybe I just like mine too much

I feel sorry for Sony because they at least try to be different to everyone else. But when Apple comes in and makes their own smart watch it will probably not be as good as the SW2 but will most definitely outsell the SW2. It's a shame. I already own a smart watch called the Seiko UC-2000 which will probably be able to do more than any of the new smart watches.

 

 

Mine has the original metal strap though.
