Personal Warning about TurtleBeach XP7's

I had them given to me as a gift early this year. I wouldn't have bought them, but they were a great gift from the family collectively. About 2 weeks ago, the left side audio stopped working. I tried troubleshooting the issue to no avail. The only fix was to get the mobile adapter and use it. I email TB and asked for a warranty replacement. They rudely made the remark, "This is not like a retail store, so we cannot merely open a box, remove a cable and give it to you(or throw it in a package with label, etc)." It was obvious that they didn't care about the customer. I've had many good experiences with their tech support, but one bad can cover a million good. The agent had no care if he solved my problem, or just handed me a shovel to go bury them in the yard. They have to know that their quality was bad, since even the new guy in the gaming department at Best Buy said in 7 days, everyone that had came in told him they were crap. 

 

TL;DR

TB quality < quantity and customer support doesn't care.

TL;DR

What I got out of it is that they are bad.

That is why I go out and get a dozen Dollarama earbuds at a time
