no, not at 4K (I would dare say not even at all)

My Xeons are at 2.8 GHz and they're from the i7-920 era. GTA V, Fallout 4, MGSV... All runs great ;)

(btw not saying I like the 8320 in this build, but it would definitely suffice)

Best I could do, price wise, If you go to $1100-1150 you could get a nicer rig without to many compromises

Why does everyone hate 1080p so much suddenly

imo, Id rather play a 60+fps with max settings at 1080p than struggling to run most titles at 30fps @ 4k.

If youve got tons of cash to burn, 4k sounds great, but like the other guys said... budget and 4k dont really work so well... at least not with smooth results. 4k really just isnt that practical ....  yet

But imo, that build you posted is a nice try. If you wanna game at 4k a 980ti is a good start...

GTA V, FO4, and MGSV all run at 60FPS High-Very High settings on my single 980ti... and that's even with my incredibly weak CPUs

people seriously over exaggerate how hard 4K is to run

I mean fair enough, alot of this depends on what games you play to be fair. Starcraft 2 for example, not a 'hard' game to run I suppose, but at 4k a 4v4 can be pretty intensive.

I guess what I mean is, with a single 980ti, you can confidently run any title that is out now or will be out for the foreseeable future at 1080p 6ofps+

And further more, a 980ti isnt exactly what most would consider an 'affordable' card. 960's 970's are far more commonplace from the Nvidia scene, in many cases older cards as well... you will have a fairly difficult time running games at 4k on a more reasonably priced card. I don't mean to sound like 4k is impossible; it definitely isn't, I just dont feel its nearly as practical as 1080p gaming yet... especially since (at least to my eyes) 1080p looks perfectly fine.
