please help me find a tube amp under 200, i've been looking at the monoprice tubes (desktop headphone use)

Get the Aune T1 Mk2 if you want "tube sound", get the Schiit Vali if you want tubes without tube sound.

My tubes only make sound after eating Taco Bell.

I wouldn't buy one, but it's supposed to be a good entry-level amp/dac with the sound of toobs. Which I assume is why you're interested in them.

Probably for the money, the monoprice is a clone of some cheap Chinese shit at absurd markup; also some reports are that it has a high noise floor.

Well, nothing's perfect. I'd guess that is the DAC which was the problem for that reviewer and it looks like you can by-pass it.
