Good $1000-$1200 CAD laptop

Clanscorpia

My uncle needs a new laptop and he asked me for help and I'm wondering if you guys have any good ideas. He doesn't want an overly gamey-like laptop but he said he needs at least a 17 inch or higher screen. He will be doing lots of office work and probably some light gaming. So what do you guys think? Best company's, laptops, specs etc. Thanks guys!
