Setting RAM speeds.

So I have DDR3 2400. My board obviously supports it, will it automatically set itself to that speed? Or would I have to edit the XMP in the BIOS, and if so, how would I do that?

you go in the UEFI, find the overclocking section, and enable XMP

In XMP, yes. Your BIOS should tell you what speed it will run at.
