Specific Dac/Amp Question

Go to solution Solved by KaminKevCrew,

Right now I currently have my Aune T1 MK2 as my main and only Dac/Amp for all my headphones, so I've gotten used to the warmer sound for months now, I want to be able to do some music production and analytically monitor something, now will my tube amp distort what I'm listening to so much that I won't be able to tell the difference in some points of the music I'm listening too. If so, should I just get a O2 Dac/Amp combo (although I really don't want to buy one) because I'll probably stop using my Aune. I wouldn't think it would change how the tones sound far enough to adjust my judgement while listening to music but then again I'm now used to the warmer sound ever since I got into the whole tube amp/collecting thing.

It's certainly still usable. It won't be as precise, but it's still going to be fine. I know a guy who uses a bottle head Crack and hd600 for his monitoring/mixing. It's a highly modified Crack, but still, it's a tube amp.

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)
