My build is this, nzxt s340 case, amd x4 860k cpu, gigabyte ga-f2a78m-ds2, a 500watt evga psu, 1 stick of 8gb ram ballistix sport, wdc blue 1TB and a gigabyte r7 360 gpu. So i still have the and stock cooler and i know and runs hotter and because of this it's worse and the stock cooler sucks i have ordered a hyper 212 evo but i can't get that for like 2 more weeks! i was ordering a product today on my pc when suddenly everything my browser crashes. Unusual, and my idle temps are usual 70 degrees this is terrible but when i rebooted it after it crashed my idle temps say 90 degrees on hw monitor and on speed fan it says 40 degrees. So i went into the bios and its the usual 70 degrees, THIS IS MEANT FOR GAMING BTW! Now when i boot up my pc everything is incredibly slow and i can't do anything. I haven't touched the hardware i haven't changed anything so what's happened to my pc i have rebooted 4 times and this continues to happen can someone help me D:

Reseat the CPU cooler, you shouldn't be getting 70 degrees idle.

This is not just a heat problem , this is a SERIOUS heat problem ! xD

It's probably a bad mount , mount it again and check a guide online on how to do it .

a screenshot of HWmonitor wouldnt hurt , just to make sure it's not one of those AMD bad temp monitors

I have done this ever since i had this terrible cooler and im stuck with 70 no matter what i do! :/i just dont get it

Open up something like CPU-ID or CPU-Z to tell you what your cpu is running at speed wise. There may be something in the overclock or over-voltage department going on.

Thanks!

So the thing that secure the stock cooler down it's not mounted properly. I can't blame you for that as they don't even mention how to properly install cooler in the manual of your motherboard. This picture is taken from another manual of a similar fm2+ board http://i1.someimage.com/EnlNxTD.png (look at Step 3) The thing that secure the cooler down have to be on the top not on the bottom. When you are taking down the cooler you can clean it a bit too.

i just checked all of those steps to the heatsink and everything seems fine however there is quite a bit of dust build up?
