Need sound card!

Well I got some new headphones(HD 598) and my computer can't drive them well (I can hear sound but its pretty bad quality. I was just wondering what will be the best sound card I could get for my system because my computer is pretty old and there are probably some hardware limitations. I was also thinking of improving my cpu and getting some gpus. 

PC Specs:

 

Dell Vostro 220

CPU:                  Intel E2200 (2 cores, 2.2Ghz)

Motherboard:     G45M03

Ram:                  4 GB (2GB inItial but upgraded to 4 GB)

Power supply:    300 watts

No graphics card

No sound card

the DG is legacy PCI so that might work for your board

so are there any hardware requirement or can i just grab anyone

hardware requirements are on the website

you just need an ok cpu, some ram and storage space

 

just make sure you buy a PCI or PCIe card depending on what your motherboard has
