Win7 install help

Trying to install windows but it says. Windows cannot be installed to this disk. He selected disk has an mbr partition table. On efi system, windows can o ly be installed to gpt disks. I have put Windows on here before

Format and try again? You might need to use 3rd party format solution first.

on boot of setup, once your get to the first window prompt press shift+F10. this

will bring up a command window prompt.

type: diskpart>enter

type: list disk>enter

type disk desired for OS install type: disk X (your needed disk)

type: clean>enter

type: create partition primary align=1024>enter

type: format quick fs=ntfs

type: exit>enter
type: exit>enter

then proceed installation.
