So i finally decided to join the master race, and by doing so i set myself the challenge og building an itx build using Phantek's Enthoo Evolv ITX Case. (Keep in mind that my part selection is rather limited due to country)

My rig is aimed at gaming in 1080p to 1440 in some games and i just wanted to get you guys' opinions on it  :)

My part list:

Case: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX Windowed

Case fan: Fractal Design Silent Series R3

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K

CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

GPU: Sapphire Radeon R9 390 Nitro 8GB

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA H170N-WIFI

Ram: Corsair Vengeance LP 2x4GB

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB

SSD: HyperX Fury 120GB

PSU: Cooler Master G650M 650W

So I took in your advice and changed the GPU from Msi GTX 970 to a Sapphire Radeon R9 390 Nitro 8GB and swapped the kingston ssd to a Crucial BX 100

Since you aim at 1440p get a R9 390, it beats the 970 at 1440p.

Don't get the V300, kingston changed the controller to a slow one so the V300 performs badly.

You would be able to play more games at 1440p with the r9 390 anyhow, just pick a good sapphire or MSI r9 390.

Try not to go for V300 SSD. They are the worst. Out of experience. They are super slow couz they use an old controller. Get maybe an 850 Evo instead. It is far better. And doesn't cost much from the Kingston SSD

The 850 evo is way costlier than the v300. He could get a Adata sp600 or a Crucial BX 100.

because the K version costs more and is over clockable. So if you're not overclocking. There's no point

Cost isn't really an issue, and i might end up overclocking it. I just chose it because it is a very solid CPU in my opinion and what i hear others say it its quite good.

its no different from a normal 4690. But you'd better overclock it cause there's no point throwing money down the drain really.
