So I recently got OBS and I changed some settings to what I wanted and tried to record a game called Dishonored. However, the game had extremely low fps, averaging around 10 and below making the game almost unplayable. Normally, it runs at a steady 60-70 fps but the performance drops tremendously while recording. I would like to know if there's a fix for this? I have an i5-6600k processor and an Nvidia Gefore GTX 970 graphics card so I don't have a bad PC by any means. Any suggestions or fixes? Thanks

Using NVENC you HAVE to go crazy with the bitrate, cos hardware recording is not great.  Just record with ShadowPlay/NVENC in OBS at 30Mbps and you'll be fine.
