Hi everyone! So I just want to know if I should be cleaning pc. I don't mean cleaning the hardware of dust, but I mean making my pc run faster and stuff. I have heard of "defragmenting". And other things. Is there anything specific I should be doing often to keep my pc running fast? Are there programs I can use to "clean" my pc? Also any tutorials you could link would be helpful.

CCLEANER is what i use

Cleaning your PC doesn't make your computer go faster. Unless:

 -> You not needed remove startup programs

 -> Your HDD is at max capacity.

i don't trust CCleaner, I tried it once and then my computer stopped being able to install windows updates. I also had some other problems I don't remember but I eventually just reinstalled the OS. Do it at your own risk. Maybe I did something wrong but I'm probably not going to try it again.

Ccleaner, use both the file cleaning and registry options... And also I recommend Auslogics Defrag, for defragmenting, its very fast!

If you want to go deeper in cleaning, Bleachbits is another program you can try. Please be careful when using this program. It can easily remove something you need if you're not careful. For defragging, you can use Puran Defrag and Auslogics Disk Defrag(programs that I remember besides the default program).

Ccleaner for cleaning and defragler for defragmentation the drives. Word of advice - if you have SSD NEVER defragment it.

CCleaner and Defragler. Just don't defrag ssd. Good allaround soft is Advanced Windows Care. I've been using it for years and even free version does enought. I have pro now and I'm very satisfied to everything it does.

CCleaner once a week on it's default options :) also has a nice start-up manager for making boot-ups even faster.
