How do I make the resolution of the video fit the resolution of my monitor?

Vozella

Example: I buy a 1440p monitor but I want to watch a 1080p video, so the video is smaller but fits the pixels instead of looking blurry.

Please! This would be so useful!

You can't unless the video is uploaded to your native resolution. Just press the theater mode button.

You'll most like have to watch the video in some sort of windowed mode. Are you talking about a youtube video or like a movie you've downlaoded?

Best way, though not ideal, is to download VLC.

File->Open Network Stream. And past the youtube URL.

There might be a plugin for it for your browser though.

Does it happen with anything else or just the boobtube?

First off, what is boobtube?

It isn't happening yet. I WANT it to happen.

It was a good idea, but it doesn't line up the videos 1:1.
