Is Tesoro a legit brand

13lake_mahaff

One of my friends is on a super tight budget for a keyboard but he still wants to get a mechanical keyboard if he can.

He saw a Tesoro keyboard with kailh red switches with full RGB backlighting for only $65, is it too good to be true.

well khail switches are 5x cheaper than cherry mx switches, so it doesnt seem that unreasonable

the same keyboard with MX switches would be almost $65 just or the switches

Is it legit because I don't want to recomend this to my friend and then it brakes or malfunctions right out of the box

Where did he see that keyboard for $65? I can only find it as low as $90.

I don't really know what legit means in this case. It's legit as in a real company. The switches are Khail and the company cut a lot of corners with the keyboard, so it won't last as long as, say, a Ducky Shine.

Here's a review I found.

I found I on mwave in Australia. I mean legit as in does the keyboard at least have a good lifespan, while I know kailh isn't as good as cherry, is it still at least a decent keyboard.

Ok thanks I will

I've used my Excalibur Spectrum for like 6 months-ish now, seems like an alright keyboard for me, just that with these blue switches, the keys don't sound very consistent and also they don't feel very consistent.
