What do you mean "solve"?  There are two variables, correct?  Do you want one in terms of the other, and in that case which one?

Actually, just noticed there isn't even an = sign... WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM US!? :P

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

I believe he means simplify.

If this is what you meant:

_______2uv2_____

uv ( 2 * u-4 * v-3 )-4

_______2v_____                   Cancel the u and the v

( 2 * u-4 * v-3 )-4

2v * ( 2 * u-4 * v-3 )4                 Bring the denominator up to get rid of the negative

2v * (16 * u-16 * v-12)             Distribute the exponent

32 u-16 v-11                                Distribute.

Did I make any mistakes?

sorry for the white blank spots. i had to cut it down so it would be under 2mb. if there is something unclear or u think i did something wrong, let me know

Thanks for sharing. I think you made a mistake. In step 2, you used the theorem you boxed in,  y/x + z/x = (y + z)/x. However, this is only used with addition/subtraction, and in this case numbers aren't added, but multiplied. For multiplication it would be y/x * z/x = yz/(x2)
