970 or R9 390?

As the title says, im planning a new build and now im trying to decide between the 970 and R9 390. Obviously, the 390 has better specs and the 970 had that 3.5 gig issue, though nvidia is always on point with their drivers. What do you guys think?

The drivers thing is not true anymore. Go with the 390

Considering AMD is making a big change for their implementation of drivers I guess Nvidia's advantage might begin to become less prevalent

i would go for the R9 390.

why ?

1 little bit better preformence

2 8 gb vram vs  4 (3,5) 

3 might have an andvantage in dx 12 games
