Best Wired/Wireless mouse

X1XNobleX1X
Go to solution Solved by Joonikko,

There's a lot of aspects and preferences when it comes to a "perfect mouse."

Things to take into consideration:
- sensor
- switches
- shape
- weight
- button feel
- scrollwheel

More than often people think laser = better, which isn't the case. Laser sensors usually have more acceleration and other tracking issues when compared to optical sensors.

Regarding your question about the RAT7, it's horrible and avoid at all costs.

Mice, with perfect sensors:
- Microsoft WMO 1.1
- Microsoft IMO 1.1
- Microsoft IME 3.0
- Logitech G400
- Logitech G400s
- Razer DeathAdder 2013
- Razer DeathAdder 3G
- Razer DeathAdder 3.5G
- Razer Abyssus
- Zowie FK
- CM Storm Spawn
- CM Storm Xornet

Hello people of the LinusTechTips forum.

I'v been looking for a good mouse for awhile now and cannot seem to find a good one. I'm currently using a 2014 Razer Mamba, which has just stopped working.

I'v been looking at the Saitek Cryborg R.A.T 7/MMO mouse is it any good?

Do you guys have any suggestions if so post them below.

Thanks again!

I think the g700s will be perfect then since it has loads of buttons but is still great for fps

I have the g700 and all I can say is it's amazing I use all the buttons even in fps so I barely have anything to do with my left hand

^ That dude pretty much nailed it.

In the wireless arena, I guess the G700s would take the title, but it's not the optimal mouse for FPS.

In the wired world, pretty much take your pick from the mice he listed, as well as...

- CM Storm Recon

- Roccat Savu

- Roccat Kone Pure Optical

- Zowie AM

- Zowie EC1 Evo

- Zowie EC2 Evo

- Corsair M40

Though if you've been using the Mamba and feel you could tolerate re-leashing your mouse, the Deathadder 2013 would probably be your best bet.
