Okay, so I'm basically building a new pc, besides a hard drive/ssd as I already have those.

Here's what I'm thinking:

MOBO: MSI Z97 PC Mate Socket 1150 Intel Z97 Chipset

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690k Quad-Core Processor

Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Direct Heat Pipe CPU Cooler R2

GPU: GTX 960 4GB GDDR5 (Asus Strix or Msi)

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1866MHz

PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2 750W 80 Plus Gold Certified Full Modular Power Supply

Case: Corsair Obsidian 450D

OEM: Windows 8.1 64 bit

Not sure about how many watts I need, I am planning to eventually get a 980, 16 gb of ram, maybe a new processor. Thanks for any help.

The 750 watt PSU should be good now and with the future upgrades, The rest of the Parts seem compatible with each other so... Break a leg! (Dont break your leg that would be bad... very bad)

Wow this was old as heck, Need to update this signature!

After looking on the autoCAD forums people tend to use nvidia gpus over amd ones due to comparability. If your not gaming then use a quadro, much better performance.
