860K - modern games refuse to run on dual cores

I vote pentium because yeah it would bottleneck (Gave me 40FPS compared to 100~ in war thunder when friend tested my 290 in his system) but at least you have a good upgrade route.

I vote save up for a little longer and get a Skylake i3.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.

IF the pentium system launches the game it works - IF - modern games stutter a LOT or just fail to load. Stuttering can't be seen in fps

why so many people vote for the pentium, if it is the upgrade path, i dont believe in 2 years or se that the haswell will be competitive. if it is the OC, the athlon can be overclocked too, and as much OC you achieve, it cant simulate 2 missing cores.

I am going to upgrade next year, and this no dual core thing does not seem like it will stick around. I think I will get the pentium and upgrade to a quad core next year.

it depends on which games u play. the pentium is 2 cores, the 860k is 4 cores. the pentium will be a lot stronger in games that uses 2 cores ant the 860k will be stronger on games over 2
