What CPU do I get

Hi, I would like to renew some things in my old pc and bring it back to life. Y can spend about $500/550 in CPU+MOBO+Graphics card. What should I get, I was thinking mabe to get i5-4690K CPU and a R9 380 graphics card. What do you thing, or weat do you recomend me?
