What CPU do I get

Hi, I would like to renew some things in my old pc and bring it back to life. Y can spend about $500/550 in CPU+MOBO+Graphics card. What should I get, I was thinking mabe to get i5-4690K CPU and a R9 380 graphics card. What do you thing, or weat do you recomend me?

since he ALREADY own an EVGA G2 powersupply, i would dump more money on CPU and motherboard...i5-4690K, Z97 motherboard and R9 390 sounds good.

The i5 4460 is a very capable quad core. It's pretty much the best in value when it comes to gaming.

In my profile I have my own rig, this one is for my little brother. But I have I PSU that is going to be fine anyway
