will i lose windows

Hey guys if i install windows 10 on an ssd and the ssd fails, What will then happen to my windows licens ? 

can i get it back? 

or is it lost

nah.. you're good.. they register your serial of the motherboard on their servers or something.. so.. you'll lose win10 only if your motherboard dies

I believe the license is tied to your motherboard.

as long as you have the key, you own the windows license.

If you're worried about it, after you install Win10 and get it running, download and run BelArc Advisor and print out the report to keep in a file. It will detect any license keys on your computer and list them.

if your ssd is new

it will fail after 10 to 20 years from now .

by that time we will have windows 18 or 19

you will have to intall from an external source again and enter your windows key just like you would normally.
